The importance of heat measurement in industrial mediums is always increasing. In different mediums, heat measurement techniques that have different characteristics one another are arisen. To select right heat sensor considering application medium, heat measurement break and process conditions become more of an issue.
Heat sensors may be semi conductor materials with respect to heat measurement break and in terms of cost, thermistors (PTC-NTC etc.) becomes important in low temperature applications. Usually, semi conductor thermocouple (Fe-Const,NiCr-Ni, PtRh-Pt) and thermoresistance (PT100-PT1000 etc.) are used in the market.
